Health Canada

Sometimes difficult to navigate but contains useful information on infectious diseases and links to health care guidelines. Especially useful to health care workers.

The Ontario Federation of Labour (OFL)

OPSEU is a member of the OFL Health and Safety Committee. See this site for OFL news releases.

The Workers Health and Safety Centre (WHSC)

See this site for training schedules, including certification training and locations all across Ontario. This site also provides hazard information.

Occupational Health Clinics for Ontario Workers (OHCOW)

See this site for clinic sites and services offered to Ontario workers. This site contains hazard information and contains links to internet Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).

Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS)

See this site for hazard information. This site also offers a free health and safety inquiry service accessible by telephone, fax, mail and e-mail.

Institute for Work and Health (IWH)

The Institute for Work and Health is an independent, not-for-profit research organization that designs and carries out high-quality research. Their mission is to conduct and share research with workers, labour, employers, clinicians and policy-makers to promote, protect and improve the health of working people.

National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH)

This site offers health and safety information clustered by health and safety topics. Find information on infectious disease, needlestick injuries, workplace violence, chemical hazards and more.
